Robinson McClellan
"Robinson McClellan is a composer, teacher, and music technology obsessive. As a composer he has received commissions, awards and residencies from the Albany, Ft. Worth, and Knox-Galesburg Symphonies, Macalester Concert Choir, Toronto Choral Artists, Parthenia Viol Consort, MacDowell, Yaddo, ASCAP, and others. His choral music is published by E.C. Schirmer, Church Publishing, Augsburg Fortress, and See-a-Dot. Robin earned his doctorate in composition from the Yale School of Music / Institute of Sacred Music. Robin is Musician Advocate for Noteflight, the online music notation company. His teaching includes music theory at Rutgers University, ComposerCraft (a course for advanced young composers ages 10-16), composition and theory lessons at Lucy Moses School and Special Music School; he also maintains a private composition studio, and serves as composer mentor and board member for YCIW.
