Sound can heal, enliven, and nurture us. Exploring sound and vibration can help us to uncover fresh possibilities in ourselves, in our connections with others, and our earth. In this fun experiential workshop, pianist, yoga instructor, and sound healer, Meg Ruby, will take us on a journey of self-discovery through awareness, breath, movement, and sound. Meg will share exercises that help facilitate deep listening, encourage creative flow, develop flexibility, stamina, greater coordination, and help release chronic muscle tension. Techniques will be given to help provide relief from issues that arise in teaching and performing such as anxiety, pain, and stress. We will do exercises to encourage greater listening, and we will explore the nature of sound, and discover how we are inherently sound and vibration. General side effects of this workshop include---greater confidence and wellbeing, ease and comfort in your body, the discovery of your unique voice and creativity.
